I use it to cut my own hair, and before getting this, I was having to use a jury-rigged guide because I wanted a longer cut than my current guide selection allowed. This guide is almost perfect- and its sturdy, not as flimsy as a "longer" guide might be expected to be. My only "complaint" isn't with the product- its with the manufacturer- couldn't they make a guide that's 1-3/4", too?
Well worth the investment.
