(More customer reviews)I had been using a 00000 with a #0 guard for 1/16th of inch cut. This method tended to leave a lot of "stragglers". However, this 0A with no guard trims to about the same length. This 0A is fantastic and
leaves no stragglers. Oster makes a tremendous product. Highly recommend this blade for close trim.

Oster 918-05 size OA Close. Cuts 3/64", 1.2mm. Fits Oster Classic 76 clippers, Power Pro, Power-Teq and Star-Teq clipper. For close fades, tops of flat tops, removing a lot of bulk at one time on all types of hair. Also to remove a line of demarcation of a #1 blade. AgION blades have advanced, silver-based AgION? antimicrobial protection built in, to prevent the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew on blade surfaces. Manufactured from fine-grain, high carbon steel that is cryogenically treated so edges stay sharp longer. Blades have a Rockwell Hardness rating of 62. Blades stay ultra cool for optimum durability.
