I wanted something that would look good on my vanity table and also something that would keep dust off the brushes. This glass jar has been perfect. I am very happy with it and have told a couple friends how to order on-line for themselves. I keep the short brushes, that don't work well in this jar, in a nice box with a hinged lid on top of the vanity near this jar and now all my brushes are in attractive containers, never get dust on them and are easily accessible every time I want to use them. I am very happy with this purchase.
