I have two large Australian shepherds with thick coats that need to be shaved at least twice every summer and I needed something that would go through the mats and the winter wool and not poop out halfway through the haircut. These clippers are fantastic! Properly adjusted and sharpened, they have awesome muscle and blistering speed. It makes shaving a big, struggling dog easy! If you're going for good looks, though, keep in mind they leave no room for miscalculations. If your dog sneezes while you're using these on him, he's going to have a bare spot.
