The shears arrived as stated, however when we tried to use them a couple of months later, they wouldn't cut the hair; just folded it over between the two blades. They feel sharp enough, but the blades don't come close enough together on both edges of the scissors to cut. They were a gift and we are sorely disappointed!!!! I won't purchase scissors over net again; none, sight unseen again!!!!!

(More customer reviews)My wife cuts my hair 2 times a month. We really can't afford the 100 dollars shears at the expensive stores so I bought these because of the reviews. They are really worth every penny. The scissors are sharp, light, and the blades move well against each other with no gaps or catches. My wife has been happy with them every since we got them and I think they deserve 5 stars for that and the fact that you get lifetime sharpening! So if you have to cut hair more than once a month, they are a great buy.

Wanted to get another pair if they did and sure enough they do!!! The only difference in mine is they don't have the added piece on the finger hole part to rest your ring finger on. Highly recommend them!

I am a professional stylist and work in a salon everyday. I needed a backup pair of shears to be able to send my good ones to the sharpener. I got these and immediately they fell apart. The very first time I used them in the salon! I planned on returning them. I got industrius one morning and pieced them back together (Minor mechanic). Now that they are mechanically stable I realized the they do not point cut at ALL. The non-pointy ends are as useless as safety scissors from first grade. They sit in my Jowell case, pretty and pretty useless.

(More customer reviews)the scissors were fine not as fine as they used to be. I have a pair that I bought15 years ago.. the old pair were made in Brazil of stainless steel and lasted for 15 years.
the new ones do not cut as well. I use them for clipping the hairs around my doggie's eyes. they are adequate enough to do the job. I just wished they were as sharp as the ones made in Brazil. time marches on and the products we used to buy are not as good as the old ones.
