(More customer reviews)These combs are made of really good plastic. I was impressed with the initial quality.
Then I tried to put them on, they use a 'spring' type attachment to keep them on. I noticed that the 'spring' part gets stuck often and I have to 'force' it back after use (only on some of the combs)
I'm not sure how long they will last, the 'spring' is very cheap, but does the job. They are the nicest combs I've seen other than the 'spring' issue.

(More customer reviews)I was very worried about these combs because of some reviews I've read about them not fitting the Oster Fast feed clipper, which I had purchased. The combs fit great, I assume the people who had problems couldn't figure out the mechanism - it's a spring-loaded clip and the springs can be a bit stiff at first. Just put the metal tabs on the back of the blade and press forward, they fit like a dream, and from what I can tell, universal is right, this design should work with any clippers. Very high quality, worth what I thought of as a high price for clipper combs.

(More customer reviews)Appears to be crudely manufactured -- rough dull surface. Only way to stop it from buzzing/rattling loudly against the clipper was to put a large rubber band around both. If I ever get another, I'll try the plastic one.
