These clippers are quiet; they do not scare my children; they do not pull hair. We LOVE these clippers. I cut all of the hair in my family of 6, and I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend these to anyone. The kids loved watching the instructional DVD that comes along with it and I even learned a pointer or two. I appreciate that these come in a nice case for storage. Two thumbs up!!
